Answers to frequently asked questions

GETTING THERE:

We are located at 236 Sixth Ave.  If you are arriving Seward by car, the Seward Highway will turn into 3rd Avenue and you won't even know it.  Take a left off of 3rd onto Adams.  Go through 3 stop signs.  We are on the corner of 6th Ave. and Adams St..  We are a dark brown building with sea foam green trim. 

If you arrive via train you can get a taxi for about $8.  I reccomend Shiela's taxi.  You can reach her at 362-8000.  Also, there is a free shuttle bus that runs daily.  It will stop at the train station every 30 minuetes as well as the corner of Ballaine ave. and Adams Street.  This will leave you just 1/2 block from the inn.  The bus begins running every morning at 8am and stops at 9pm.   

CHECKING IN:

Check in is at 3pm.  If you cannot make it at that time, no worries.  Upon making your reservation you will be given a code to enter your room.  If you make your reservation via phone, you will be given a code you are familiar with.  If you make your reservation on line your code will be the first four NUMBERS of your confirmation code.  On line reservations receive a confirmation code that all begin with RCR and are proceeded with 8 numbers.  Your combination to enter into your room is the first four NUMBERS of that code.  i.e.,  if my confirmation code was RCR34239803, my code to enter into my room would be 3423.  

If you are staying in a room, you will enter in the alley through the door that has your name on it.  If you are renting the two bedroom house, you will park off of Sixth and enter in the only door that faces Sixth Avenue.  There will be a sign with your name on it as well. 

INTERNET: 

There is a welcome letter in every room and also at the guest computer in the commons area that has our WI-FI password on it.

My name is Rissie.  I live two blocks away from the inn and I am available via phone 24/7.  You can reach me at 907-224-7667.  Also, if you need anything you can also find helpful staff at the Sip N Spin that is located at 335 Third Ave.  The phone # for Sip N Spin is 907-224-5483.  The shuttle will also stop at Sip N Spin as well.  It is located at the corner of 3rd Ave. and Jefferson Street.  I will be at this address every morning from 5am till 10am.  Patty will be available at the inn from 11am till 4pm.  Please call any time for any questions, needs or concerns.  We are here for you!

EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK OUT:

Please, feel free to leave luggage with us before check-in or after check-out at the Sip N Spin.  I will come pick your luggage up for you if you need to store your luggage for the day.  Just call in advance and we will make arrangements.
